Personal History Born in Ireland on Earth, Siobahn is the youngest child and only daughter of Kieran and Brigit Fallon. She was born 10 years after her brother and only sibling, Malachay Fallon.

Her father, Kieran, was a civilian engineer on Earth, and her mother, Brigit, was an architect. Both of her parents were devoutly Irish Catholic and until she left to move to San Francisco to attend the Academy, Siobahn attended Mass with her parents.

Her childhood was, at a glance, basically idyllic. Both of her parents loved her and doted on her, even her brother was one of her closest friends, always the first one to encourage and support her through everything she chose to do.

During her preliminary schooling, Siobahn was a somewhat ordinary student. Due to her Catholic upbringing she attended private Catholic schools. She got good grades, never got into trouble and was rarely noticed by anyone. Once she reached high school she started to develop her own individuality, yet still she was a model student. She had good friends, got good grades, joined in plenty of extra curricular activities, including dance, cheer and track.

After graduation, Siobahn made the decision that she wanted to attend StarFleet Academy and pursue a career in medicine. She was accepted and commenced with the next intake. By the time she commenced at StarFleet Academy, her brother had graduated and accepted a position on the USS Montana as a Security Officer.

Part way through her third year at the Academy, Siobahn's parents were killed in a freak accident on a small transport ship returning to Earth from vacation. They were two of eight people killed when the ship encountered a freak plasma storm which eventually destroyed the ship.

Reeling from the shock of losing both her parents so suddenly, Siobahn found it difficult to focus on her studies.

It was less than six weeks after she received the news that her parents had died that she found out her brother had been killed in the line of duty. Details of his death were never made available to her.

Having lost her entire family in such close proximity, Siobahn started to struggle with everything. Her desire to study fell by the wayside and she started making bad decisions.

It was only after one of her Academy instructors reached out to her and recommended she take a brief sabbatical from the Academy to recover that she started to find her way again. After spending two months on a 'reflective retreat' that was recommended to her, she finally felt able to cope with everything that had happened and was ready to return to her studies, returning to the Academy and adding in sub branches of alternative and holistic medicine as well as standard medical practices.

After completing three years of basic Starfleet training and completing her first two years at Starfleet Medical, Siobahn applied to complete her final two years of medical training while on active duty, taking a position aboard the USS Washington in the Delta Quadrant.

During her time on the USS Washington she met, and eventually became involved with a marine assigned to the ship, Major Westin James. James was the only person who vehemently disapproved of her reluctance to use weapons of any kind and repeatedly pushed her toward learning self defence, and in particular, how to use firearms.

It was only after she was involved in an altercation with a drunken officer in the ship's lounge that she finally consented to learning some basic weapons skills.

A year after she had first joined the USS Washington, the crew were on assignment near New Earth when Siobahn was one of three female crew members abducted at knifepoint by an underground civilian criminal organisation. The three were held for 10 days, their captivity only ending when the marine detachment from the USS Washington in conjunction with Intelligence and Security mounted a rescue operation.

Details of what happened during both the time they were held hostage and during their rescue were never fully recorded as Siobahn has stoically refused to speak about it since.

It was not long after, having completed her final two years of medical training, Siobahn was offered, and accepted, an internship at a state of the art medical training facility on the Dalacari Homeworld, the offer having been extended while she was part of a shore leave party on the planet.

After completing the 18 month internship, Siobahn applied to be reassigned back to Starfleet and took a position aboard Starbase 243
